Following consultation with a number of our clients, we are pleased to announce that our Safe-Way and Hermit underpass fittings are now available with a warm white 4000 Kelvin(K) LED gear tray, in addition to the 5700 Kelvin(K) version which is already established.

The need for good quality, reliable lighting is absolutely imperative in underpasses and walkways in order to help keep pedestrians safe. Our dedicated road safety experts have years of design and manufacturing experience that ensures both the Safe-Way and Hermit fittings continue to provide this to our customers across the UK. 

The robust, stainless steel housings contain our high efficiency, low energy LED lighting solution which offers 50% energy saving compared to PL lamped units. Unfortunately, the nature of subways and underpasses is that they can often attract vandalism. However, we are proud to confirm that our units are highly vandal-resistant, having been tested in accordance with BS EN 62262:2002 and offer an IK10 rating.
