Pulsa school warning light system

Streets around schools are often busy with parked cars and traffic at peak drop-off and pick-up times, so it is vital that road users are made aware of potential hazards. Our Pulsa school crossing signal has been reliably supporting children to safely cross the road at over 500 locations throughout the UK for over two decades.

We are committed to delivering the highest quality road safety equipment that is easy to install and requires minimal ongoing maintenance. Our tried and tested range of Pulsa crossing signals feature a long-life, low energy LED light source which is clearly visible at any time of day. The robust design has a proven history of vandal resistance, offering a long service life alongside a very low running cost. We also offer a Solar version for zero energy consumption helping towards reduced carbon footprint.

Our Pulsa range includes five main types of safety device. The Pulsa 4×4 school patrol warning light, Smart Pulsa, GPRS Pulsa, Pulsa LED and GPRS Connect, all of which include unique functionality depending on your specific needs.

Our Pulsa GPRS, for example, includes internet access offering the user full remote, multi-location control of calendar programming and switching, plus capability to receive real time reporting and fault notification, all from either a computer or smartphone.

Invinca VAS speed activated device

In 2018, we launched our brand new road messaging device, the Invinca VAS. Our first speed activated device is based on our tried and tested Invinca sign system and provides high definition visual feedback to drivers. The device delivers a clear message to approaching vehicles, displaying their speed as a means to actively encourage safer driving. 

With integrated Wi-Fi communication for ease of use, our Invinca VAS is an important aspect of speed management in busy, populated areas, ideal for outside schools and around towns and villages.

Built-in data capture from the Invinca VAS also provides vital road management insight. All information is stored digitally and is available to view at any time via the Simmonsigns Digital Interface. By collecting and reviewing a range of vehicle speed data, you will be able to make informed road safety decisions.
