We are delighted to share with you that, this year, Martin Kelly celebrates his ten year anniversary with Simmonsigns Limited, having joined us as our South West and South Wales Sales Manager back in January 2012.

After joining the street lighting industry during a Youth Training Scheme back in 1992, Martin is currently celebrating, not only ten years at Simmonsigns, but also thirty years within our market sector.

“Wow, has it really been that long? I remain immensely grateful to the street lighting industry which has played such a major part in my life. Not only has it given me an unbroken career path (whilst allowing me to work on some amazing projects and meet fantastic people), it also presented the opportunity for me to meet my wonderful wife, Sally, also (funnily enough) of ten years!

Within this time, the industry has changed so much and, especially in more recent times, it has faced very tough challenges. One thing, however, which has remained constant throughout my time is the assistance and friendliness that has continually been extended to me by all of my customers, many of whom I have now come to consider close, personal friends.”

Director of Sales, Steve Keary, says, “Martin’s knowledge of the industry and our product range is second to none. In the ten years that he’s been with us, he has built and maintained a customer base of considerable size; in fact, many of these individuals would now class him as a friend both in and outside the work environment, which just goes to show how respected he is across the region.
