After an initial batch of trial subway installations, Ringway’s Hertfordshire depot have adopted the Simmonsigns Safe-Way subway lighting system and EcoSafelight retro-fit units to upgrade the extensive subway infrastructure within Hertfordshire. This is to help encourage the use of the many cycleways and footpaths throughout the county.
As a place which naturally lacks daylight, a subway should be lit sufficiently to ensure the safety of pedestrians and cyclists at all times. Our range of subway lighting is specifically designed to withstand extreme vandalism whilst maintaining high levels of illumination throughout the day and night.
